Mission
Working with Ai every day creates a quiet problem. Each session starts smart and ends forgotten. Decisions get remade. Standards drift. The human becomes the memory, which is exactly backwards.
Subspace OS fixes the direction of that arrow. It is a personal operating system for working with Ai, built from four parts. A written constitution sets the rules that do not bend session to session. A decision ledger records not just what was chosen but why, so old reasoning stays available when new questions look familiar. A registry holds the repeatable systems, each one named and versioned. Lifecycle governance decides what is experimental, what is stable, and what gets retired.
The thesis underneath is compound human leverage. The machine handles structure and follow-through. The human spends attention only where judgment is actually required.
Where it stands
Subspace OS is live and in daily use, built in the open on top of Claude Code. The constitution governs real sessions. The ledger holds real decisions. The registry is not a plan for systems; it is the systems, running.
Where it goes
The roadmap is absorption. Anything proven repeatable moves from habit into the registry. Anything decided twice gets written down once. Over time the operating system takes on more of the structural load, and the sessions get shorter where they should and deeper where it counts.
An operating system is never finished. This one is not trying to be. It is trying to be trustworthy, one recorded decision at a time.
